I have some standard door-dings. How do get these removed with the least trouble and cost?

I would definitely suggest using a skilled P.D.R. (paintless dent removal) tech. I've got a guy that works wonders!

Hi Oberto, can you explain how this dent removal system works? Many people, myself included, have heard about this but don't fully understand how it is done.
Thanks

Paintless dent removal is a process (more like an art) in which small dents or dings are removed without the need of refinishing. The tech. uses "picks" (an array of rods of all lengths & tips) to gently massage out the dent from the inside. there are many factors that contribute to a successful job including: access to the area behind the damage, location of the damage-if it is directly on a bodyline it is very difficult to push it out, size of the damage- I've seen these guys work miracles but sometimes dents are just too big, & paint damage- if the paint cracked on impact it usually gets worse when it is massaged out. These are just to name a few. As far as price, it will always vary from tech. to tech. the latest I've come across was $100 for the first panel & $80 for each additional panel.*NOTE* these prices were for panels with 2-3 dings each, panels with excessive damage & hail damage are usually done on an "estimate basis"
